Sean's 1st Holy Communion

Sean had his First Communion today at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. He was a little nervous, but came through like a trooper. He even instructed me on what to do when we (Ann and I) walked him up to take communion. "Dad, you need to stand off to the side when we get up there". It was pretty cute.

Afterwards, we all gathered back at the house for a bit of a celebration. We probably got home from church around 2:40, and started the party shortly thereafter. We kept at it until 9:30 or so. Sydney didn't make it through to the end. We all had a good time, and Sean made a bit of a haul from the gift givers. Won't have to do this again until Connor is in second grade. Thankfully, that will be several years.
